Joined the “Curbed Wheel Club” today. Took a turn too sharply in the 6 and my right rear wheel ate it. I feel so dumb.
Drove a few miles down the highway before I went home and the car rides/drives fine. But I’m still upset.

It’s not that bad fortunately. I’ve been there and it sucks.
Day before the 2018 PNW drive, I put on my brand new sparco rims and Falken Azinis and curbed it on the way home from the tire store , damaging my rim and tearing the sidewall.

It doesn’t look that bad tho
as long as the tire still holds air :o)
You may want to upgrade to a smaller wheel size and taller sidewall

It happens. No use getting to upset over it.

The car is averaging 4,000 miles a year now that I work from home. I’ll just drive it less. Haha.
I knew I should’ve taken the Highlander today.

My wife curbbed a wheel on her Terrain within a month of us getting it. I wasn’t happy, but I didn’t say anything. It happens.

That ain’t bad. Wheel repair guys/gals are magic. That should cost you less than $100.

Damn. That sucks a lot worse than me scuffing my OEM Mazda wheels.

Nah, it sucks about the same. But, you may even be able to get that resurfaced for relatively cheap!

I just messaged my detail guy to see if he knows anyone locally that can fix it. He knows about everyone around here that’s car-related.

Happens to the best of us.

I have scuffed the rear rims on every car I’ve had since the Miata. That damn go-kart basically ruined any real sense of where my rear wheels are in relation to myself.
The LS400 was so long, I curbed the driver’s rear less than a month of owning it.
With the Six, I made it all of three months.
